Marinated Raw Broccoli Salad

Broccoli is not one of my favorite vegetables… I still eat it. I keep trying. It is amazingly good for you! It is a sulfur-rich food which helps us detox and fight against degenerative diseases including cancer. Well, today I found the way I actually enjoy it: marinated raw broccoli salad. Even better, everyone in my family liked it too.


  • 1 head of broccoli cut into small pieces
  • 2 big carrots peeled and shredded
  • 3 mini peppers or 1/2 of big red bell pepper sliced very thin
  • 3-4 green onions chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic crushed
  • 1 Tablespoon of sesame seeds

For the marinade:

  • 1 – 2 Tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a big salad bowl. Make marinade separate and pour it over mixed vegetables. Mix everything once again and let it sit on a counter or in a fridge for about 30 minutes. Share it with everyone who thinks they do not like broccoli 🙂
